“Diffractions are attuned to differences- differences that our knowledge-making practices make, and the effects that they have on the world.”

Clinical Supervision
Erin Kuri, PhD, CCC-S, OATR is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), Registered Art Therapist (OATR), and Certified Canadian Counsellor-Supervisor practicing in Ontario, Canada.
Are you looking to meet your supervision hours requirements, professional development credits, or simply continue your professional development journey in connection with the folks you support? I am a qualified and enthusiastic clinical supervisor with graduate-level training and on-going professional development in clinical supervision and consultation. You may be a qualifying or registered member of a college such as CRPO or OCSWSSW, or working towards registration or certification with an association such as CATA, OATA, or CCPA. Or you may be a seasoned professional with the desire to engage more deeply in your practice with clients, with the goals to increase self-awareness and insight into relationship dynamics in your practice. Clinical supervision and consultation can also be understood as an essential approach to self-care, preventing or reducing the impacts of burn-out and bias when working with a heavy case-load or complex client contexts.
Through the creative process of art-making and a relational approach to supervision, I support supervisees in a non-judgemental manner to practice ethically and effectively.
I practice clinical supervision and consultation through a feminist, relational, trauma and attachment informed framework. I integrate psychodynamic theory, critical social justice theory and ways of working through creativity and visual art into my practice. Through our relationship, I aim to cultivate a safe space to explore areas of tension and successes with your clients, as well as supporting you in your career and identity as a mental health practitioner.
I have over 15 years of practice experience across community agency and private practice settings. My areas of specialization include attachment, trauma and loss, gender-based sexual violence, emotional support in connection with reproductive planning/ infertility/ reproductive loss/ reproductive healthcare, perinatal/maternal mental health, infant and early childhood (0-6) mental health, and adolescent mental health/life transitions.
I provide individual clinical supervision and consultation both in-person and virtually.
